Geneva had just finished 4 years at a university and finally obtained her Finance degree. Time to start putting this degree to work. Right?! After looking around at her options in Miami, FL every employer wanted someone with a degree and years of experience to pay them $40,000 per year. Yikes! Apart from that she realized that she just got this Finance degree because she was good at math and this seemed like a stable career path. After working in a finance and accounting position in a small business she realized that she completely disliked it. Luckily, she discovered Microblading; realized the potential and began immediately. Within a few weeks she got training and began practicing day and night to become very skilled at her new craft. She started taking family and friends as her initial clients and soon after had many people reaching out to get their brows done as well. She was shortly after able to leave her dreaded 9-5 finance job and pursue permanent makeup full time.

John would accompany her to many of the appointments and saw how much success she had in such a short amount of time. Meanwhile he was working a 9-5 as well in an architectural firm. He soon decided he wanted to join her in the business and was thinking about learning microblading when he found out that there were other techniques apart from microblading. So he trained in Scalp Micropigmentation and soon after started taking his own clients part time while still working the architectural job. There was nothing else like it! The experience of having your own clients and controlling your schedule was incredible. He was soon able to leave his 9-5 as well and go all in with Geneva to continue growing the business together!

So from boring finance and architectural jobs we were able to completely shift into the beauty industry. We had ZERO experience and were able to go full time with this new and fun career path. If we can do it without any special background then so can you!
